Position: Regional Sales Manager Mexico, Central and South America
Duties: Develop the sales in the assigned territory, selected, and train new distributors throughout, prepare forecast for the region, and assist in the development of the strategic long term plan, including recommendations for acquisitions and / or joint venture. Bottom line is to increase sales and margins. Frequent commute is required within the area of responsibilities to visit with customers, and attend tradeshows, etc. Report to the VP of International Sales.
Products: Drilling rig components (blow out preventers for land rigs and offshore applications, closing units, choke manifolds, drilling spools, submarine valves, wellheads, Christmas trees, repair, services, and spare parts.
Markets: Oil & gas companies.
Level of contact: All levels.
Customers: Pemex, YPF-Repsol, PDVSA, Petrobras, Petro Ecuador, Petro Peru, Ecopetrol, Schlumberger, BJ Services, Noble Drilling, Transocean, Saxon, Petrex, Weatherford, etc.
Accomplishments: Got registered with the three most important parastate companies in Latin America: Pemex, Pdvsa and Petrobras. Got the first two BOP stack sold in the history of T3 Energy to Petrobras in the area of Bahia.
